Equipped with adaptive GRP wipers, pneumatic clamps, or capture nets, it could latch onto the autonomous vessel even in rough seas using active heave compensation and smart latches. Docking & Recharging Stations Seafloor docking stations on the seafloor or attached to platforms could allow ROVs to return automatically for recharging or emergency recovery. These stations might use inductive charging and acoustic homing guides.
